A few of the technology tools we use in our office include:
Digital Dental X-rays
Dental x-rays are necessary to examine areas that are not visible, such as below the gums and between the teeth. Dr. Holder will prescribe x-rays as needed to complete your oral health assessment.
Our practice is equipped with digital dental x-ray technology. Using sensors that replace dental film, we can expose these to obtain diagnostic images of your teeth, the jaw bone and the jaw joints. Digital x-rays allow us to reduce the level of radiation exposure significantly as compared to the old film dental x-rays.
And, because our x-ray images are digital, Dr. Holder can share them with you on a computer screen. Digital x-rays also help us process electronic dental insurance claims and transfer information to our dental specialists.
Industrial Air Filtration System
We have installed an industrial air filtration system to remove particles and viruses from our treatment areas to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other aerosol-transmitted illnesses. Learn more about safety measures in our practice.
Electronic Appointment Reminders
Our patients love our email and text reminders for their appointments. Our automated message system will help also you stay on track for your dental cleanings and preventive care.
Dental Photography
Dr. Holder takes photos of our patients' smiles to study their treatment needs and track any changes over time. She and our dental hygienists use a digital camera as well as small toothbrush-size intraoral cameras to help us share our findings with you.
